Dyslexia is not a disease. As reading instructors, we have two jobs to do regarding letter reversals: Issues remembering basic number facts and sequences—referred to as dyscalculia—is sometimes brushed aside as common forgetfulness. Sometimes letters look very different depending upon if they are handwritten or typed.
